Pony Trouble Worldwide Release
Distributor Brain Damage Films is releasing Pony Trouble on DVD March 2007, with a domestic release in English, and International versions of the movie available for dubbing into any language.  The new release includes new cover artwork, plus DVD extras featuring outtakes, deleted scenes and much more!

A Man Among Giants wins "Choice" award at Ruff Cutz Conference
A 13-minute demo cut from the upcoming full-length documentary "A Man Among Giants," directed by Rod Webber, was awarded the Choice award at  the Ruff Cutz Indie Film Conference  in Boston.  A Man Among Giants is the story of Doug Tunstall, aka "Tiny The Terrible" and his 2007 Mayoral Race in Pawtucket, RI, which is now in "rough cut" form and will be released early 2008.

Snurg Hunter in Preproduction
Metropolitan Pictures and writer/director Warren Lynch (Pony Trouble) have begun fund-raising and pre-production of Mr. Lynch's next project, horror/comedy feature "Snurg Hunter."  Auditions for lead roles have begun, and the Company is currently accepting applications from actors.  Recent auditions include actress Saskia Slaaf (Rules of Attraction) and Rachel Viola (Chapelle's Show.)  Filming is scheduled to be July and August 2007.  For more information on investing or auditioning please contact us.

Allston, Mass in Preproduction
Metropolitan Pictures and writer/director J. B. Quelle have begun pre-production and fundraising for Mr. Quelle's action/crime drama set in the Allston, MA neighborhood of Boston.  The movie is slated to feature local landmark locations and Boston-area musical legends, including Dave Conley (Tree, Superpower), Robby Roadsteamer and Lauren LoWreck (Vagiant)  Filming is scheduled to be May and June 2007.  For more information on investing or auditioning please contact us.

Pony Trouble Obtains Distribution
Metropolitan Pictures is proud to announce that it has entered into a worldwide distribution agreement with Brain Damage Films for Pony Trouble, to be released domestically and Internationally, with foreign-language (dubbed) versions of the movie available for non-English markets.  Distributor Brain Damage is extremely excited about the movie, and has included both a cash guarantee against sales performance in the distribution contract, and an open offer to distribute all Metropolitan Pictures movies that fall within theie genre/markets.

Boston Underground Film Festival
Pony Trouble selected as a feature in the Boston Underground Film Festival (BUFF) and will be showcasing at the prestigious Harvard Film Archive in Cambridge MA on Friday March 24, 2006.  Open to the public, the movie will be show in its entirety, followed by a pary at Hoffa's, just around the corner, with a live DJ, food and a meet-and-greet with the cast and crew!

Pony Trouble SELLS OUT the Brattle!
That's right - Pony Trouble's local premiere, held at the historic Brattle THeatre in Harvard Square, Cabridge, was a complete SELL-OUT event!  The screening was such a success that we've added a command performance second showing scheduled for Friday Nov 18, 2005!

Metropolitan Pictures' first feature-length movie, a comedy/horror written and directed by Warren Lynch, is in the can today!  This self-funded feature was made on a shoestring budget of under $10,000 in 9 months with an all-volunteer cast & crew - whom we thank wholeheartedly!
